 Bit-RNB A790 fully ruggedized notebook is targeted towards professionals who require a portable computer that will survive the most extreme environments.

The MIL-STD-810F certified Beltronic Indistrial Technology Rugged Notebook (Bit-RNB A790) series is the most rugged and heavy-duty portable computing platform available in the industry. It comes standard with the new Intel Pentium-L2400 Core Duo Low Voltage Processor (1,66 GHz) to offer low power consumption, low heat generation, and significant improvement in battery operating life over any rugged laptops. The Bit-RNB A790 is configured with Intel Pentium-L2400 Core Duo Low Voltage Processor (1,66 GHz), up to 2 GB DDR RAM, hard drives Removable 2.5“ EIDE Drive 80 GB PATA (SATA drive in option), and screen sizes of 12.1 / or 14.4» with touch screen and sunlight-readable options.

Beltronic Bit-RNB A790 provides additional expandability capabilities. These include an open option Bay 2 with internal PCI connector that supports a wide variety of options including two additional com ports (RS232, RS422, or RS 485), two additional PCMCIA slots, a SCSI-2 port, DGPS or wireless modules, an auxiliary battery, or fixed floppy drive (allows the notebook to operate with floppy, hard drive and CD/DVD simultaneously)
