- Drop/Shock Vibration Protected, the Bit-RNB 130 is in full compliance with MIL-STD-810F. The die-cast magnesium alloy case and shock protected hard drive enable it withstand a 3 feet drop onto concrete or 15G.
- Freezing temperature operation, the Bit-RNB 130 is built to handle frigid conditions. The mini-notebook is certified for operation in 0°C/32°F or optional -20°C/-2°F temperature.

The Bit-RNB 130 is the perfect solution for the law enforcement, utility, emergency response, data collection, field applications, and mobile workforce fields. It can be mounted in a vehicle or combined with an optional docking station to enhance the capability with a floppy drive and choice of a fixed CD-ROM, DVD-ROM & CD R/W combo drive. The docking station also provides additional I/O ports for expansion.
To accommodate the on-the-go nature of its users, the Bit-RNB 130 provides multiple wireless communications solutions, including IEEE 802.11b Wi-Fi connectivity, GSM/GPRS and DataTAC connectivity, which allow access to the Internet through a cellular network.
